No one can actually understand the difficulties of teaching until they actually take it up personally. Today after a lesson with the (damn) 2N3, XinYi came into the staffroom teary. Why? Those idiots actually said hurting stuff about her in her lesson. I can totally understand how she feels cos I wasn't spared from those comments either, but maybe cos I'd kinda given up on that class, I juz take it that I din hear anything lor! The one I remember veri clearly is during one of the first few lessons I had with 2N3, when the fat boy ZhenHao actually said right into my face, "teacher, I give you a grade F." I look at him and said, "You're no better, a grade F student." He actually told mi, "a grade F teacher produces a grade F student." Ok lor, suit himself, I pretend I never hear anything...not worth getting upset over such insensitive monkeys.
Anyway they had their science common test today, then when I collected the papers, the first paper I turned to was James's. I was SO disappointed with him, he din even lyk attempt at try the questions lor...handed up a half blank paper...at first I thought I was angry with him, den I realised it's more of disappointment. Den today Daniel was happily eating spaghetti in my lesson after Home Econs lesson...I was lyk,"Daniel can you pls stop eating", den he gave mi the crappiest excuses lyk he have to try their cooking, cos he frm D & T den the spaghetti he eating is his fren's. After eating lyk half the serving, den he pleaded with mi not to write his name in the discipline book (cos I finally used it to threaten him). Sometimes I realli dunno to laugh or cry dealing with these monkeys...
