Ok...enuff of shopping for mi. I'd been out 3 days in a row...even if my parents allow, I oso dun wan to go out anymore. Today when we're on our way home, our legs were aching lyk hell and the thing is all 3 of us are in flats and not heels! Was out wif Jo and Angie. Din spend much (thank goodness!), only bought two pairs of earrings, one of which is 7cm long (I juz measured)...dat's all for today! Haha. The most fun time was when we were at Sakae Heerens, we were juz joking and laughing all the way man...not forgetting to stuff ourselves wif food! Reminiscing abt our JC life, how we used to have so much fun in sch. We miss the breaks slacking in canteen, we miss chatting in lectures, we miss tokking in class, we miss after sch programmes...we miss those good old times. Sigh...and we were saying how old we are now...reaching the big 20 (for Angie, and mi..soon) And of cos...not forgetting that we're all single still.
Anw I'm reconsidering if I should take up teaching for life. Even I myself realised how much I'd grown "younger" after I stopped teaching. I'm back to my old jovial self! (Whether it's a gd thing or not...it's another thing) The clothes I look at now are younger and more hip. I tend to laugh more when I'm wif my frens, and be as "animated" as I used to be. Remembering juz a few months back, it was a totally different story when I met up wif my frens. I'll be dressed in a plain serious top, hair neatly tied up and walking every step wif solemnity. At that time, when I meet up wif my frens, I'll be doing most of the listening, and juz let them tok. Now, I'm finding back the old Xuanwan. The one who lets her hair hang naturally (and untidily), and dun realli care if any strand is out of place. The one who walks wif a bounce. The one who talks as much as she listens and expresses her disapproval at any "badly-dressed" ah-lians wif a raised eyebrow and a sarcastic smirk. The one who has hundreds of different facial expressions and hundred more hand gestures! When I was teaching I onli had one facial expression: The frown wif knitted eyebrows, and one hand gesture whereby my face is cupped by both hands in a bid to give up and juz ask for help.
Seriously, I dun wan to age so fast...maybe it's a good thing I got rejected for the teaching scholarship...maybe...
Did a quiz on temper...my analysis is SO SO SO true. I got the 25% moody one. Sum accurate analysis are as such: It's not easy that I'll be out of control wif my temper, as long as it is not too far out of my limit, I can control myself. However when my limit is crossed I'll juz explode and forget who I am. Also, since I onli allow my true self to come out in front of a few selective pple, I may get into an argument or fight wif a loved one or closed fren more occasionally.
It's SO SO SO true... go do it.
