So sorry for the veri late update...came home frm camp at fri evening, tried to blog but stupid com hung on mi and I cant be bothered to try restarting again. Wanted to blog yesterday but was really really sick with a super bad sore throat, fever and slight headache. Was lying under covers for almost 12 hrs straight. Feeling a little better today, but still...sick.
Ok, firstly I'd lyk to say that the camp was really really fun, and I seriously never regretted joining it, although it's super tiring and it caused mi to be down with such a bad sore throat. On the first day, we had campus games, where we had to run all over the campus going to different stations and playing different games to get points. It was super tiring and everyone was damn shacked after the whole thing. Then at night, we had fashion parage where we dressed up one of our OG guy in hawaiian costume. By the time it was time for us to bathe and wash up, it was 12 plus. It took mi juz 3 seconds to visit dreamland once my head touched the pillow.
2nd day was at Sentosa, also had those stations games...but I didn't really enjoy it as much as the distance frm one station to another is damn far, and by the time we reached the next station we're quite sian already. Then in the evening when we came back, we're supposed to have this "secret pal" (SP) interaction, whereby all of us have a secret pal frm another OG. We're blindfolded and have to tok to ur SP for 20 mins. Ok, and happened that the counsellor in charge of our session went off sumwhere else and forgot all abt us. So in the end we ended up talking for almost 2 hrs. It seriously became the joke of the campus I tell you. The OGLs were all saying, how could u pple tok for 2 hrs to a stranger?! Did u repeat "the weather's veri good today" for 50 times?! Haha...Then after that we had to go for Fright Night, that was the worst man. I thought that since I got paired up with another girl, it wouldn't be so bad cos if I'm really scared we can hold on to each other. Damn it...for our station (which is this damn secluded toilet), they onli allowed us to go in one at a time. I nearly fainted! Then when it was time to go in, I guess I'd looked really pale cos the counsellor outside keep telling mi to relax. When I went in, this white figure drifted across and squatted at the other end of the toilet. Then there was this loud bang on the door, followed by this high pitch shriek frm the other side of the toilet. I could feel my legs wobbly already, then I seriously can't walk in any further already, so I came out before the time was up...so useless.
3rd day was quite short, we had games at the track in the morning...and our OGLs were smart enough to lead us to play all the non-dirty games. After that, we had sum stupid sponsorship talk in the afternoon that lasted for 3 hrs instead of 2, where those companies that sponsored the camp are allowed to come in and promote their company. Total waste of time. The we had to prepare for SP nite and the mini bash (which is none other than clubbing la) The SP nite thing was damn embarrassing cos they made all the guys stand at one side of the room and all the girls at the other side. They start calling name by name and the guy and girl is supposed to come out and meet at the center. Who's stupid idea is this!?! Anw after that they made us go to the hall for sum "candlelight dinner", which is where the irony cums in. They made the atmosphere so nice and everything and they serve us packet food with chicken so tough u can break ur cutlery. After that we went clubbing. It was my first time clubbing and I tink it'll be the last cos I really dun lyk it. The atmosphere and the pple there...really bad. And the way I see everyone dance, they look so cheap and slutty and they look as if they're high on drugs. It's a super bad experience really...Anw when we got back it was 3am plus, den decided to all gather at a ger's room to chat for the nite. Had quite a lot of fun, but until 6 plus we couldn't tahan anymore so all went back to sleep.
Ok... basically that's all that happened for camp. I thoroughly enjoyed myself throughtout the camp and never egretted taking time off to go for it. The new friends I made are all fun and nice people. Really looking forward to uni life...seriously.
