I'm Back!!!
Once I stepped out of the plane last nite I told my sis I never knew how sweet the air in S'pore smells like. Home sweet home! Not that I'm suffering there in China... ok I DID suffer... the food is really not to my liking, especially this time we travel the Xinjiang, Silk Road way, I eat bbq lamb till I wan to puke liao... so bloody heaty... and I hate vegetables! I took this pic from the plane... yes, confirm, I am really going to be stuck in the vast desert for 2 whole weeks!
Crude Oil Mountain. Guess the time this foto is taken... 10.00pm aka 2200.
And there's the pure natural untreated crude oil pool... they have many of these at that place...
Red sky in the evening... sun start to set at 2230.

Reached "Kanase" at around 10... love the environment we're staying in... like fairy tale liddat... but the inside facilities suck... I dun even dare to bathe at night, it gets so damn bloody cold up there on top of the mountain...
Doesn't it look so fairytale-like?? We're staying in those little houses...
These are mongolian houses... in chinese they call it "Meng Gu Bao". That's where they live in...

Bee boxes in the middle of a mountain... they sell fresh wildflower honey, pollen and royal jelly. No preservatives.
My dad bargaining with the sellers. In the end we bought 7 bottles of honey, 3 bottles of royal jelly and one bottle of pollen. The pollen sucks I tell u... tasted it and almost puked...
Took this from our coach window... see that tiny van in the pic? That's how the vehicles travel there, just right at the edge of the mountain cliff...

Me and my sis. I din noe we'll be coming up here today so I'm the only one who din change to shoes... which means I'm standing in the midst of the snow in sandals.... damn cold...
Having maggi mee in the center of the snow mountain... damn shiok...
Damn tired after climbing half of this mountain...
Actually there's many many more places I went, but most of the time I was too lazy to bring my digital cam with me down the coach... so the complete journey is captured in my dad's traditional cam instead... haha.
