I Am Warned... By A Complete StrangerWas on my way to school for my bahasa tutorial today when this ah-sor sitting beside me on the train start talking to me. Here are the few parts of the dialogue I could remember... and mind you, even after reaching Harbourfront station she happened to take the same bus number 10 with me... means... even more time to chat with me...
She: You're also taking to Harbourfront?
Me: Ya... going to school.She: You're schooling?? I thought you're already working, cos u're so dressed up.
Me: Orh, usually when I go school I dun dress up, but cos I'm going out after my lessons that's why...She: Meeting bf?
Me: No... frens...(She put her hand on my shoulder and slowed down her pace of talking...)She: Let auntie tell u something... university is the time to find a bf... once u come out to the working society it is very hard already...
Me: Ar...... but it's not easy to find in uni la...She: You must open your eyes big big... if got those parties or functions, you go for them! Listen to auntie...
Me: Orh.... (nods)She: Like my 4 nieces, all uni graduates, but never find bf during uni... now all 30 plus, still single!
Me: HUH??__________________________________________________________________
She: You uni study 3 years issit?
Me: Ya...She: Ya... girls no need to study honours... the most important thing is to marry a good man.
Me: Ar??__________________________________________________________________
And she also gave me a whole acocunt of how her son met her daughter-in-law in uni... wad happened etc etc.... *slaps forehead*. To think that I'd been siam-ing this kind of talk by my relatives, by making plans every saturday so that I will not have to show my face at my aunt's place... apparently I still cant siam from it... now I'm getting THE TALK, from a complete stranger. Imagine... even a stranger worries for me... oh man!
Anw met Jo and Cryst for dinner at Ajisen today... so long never meet them already... and after that we went for heavenly ice-cream at Haagen Daz!!! Wooooooh!!!
4 Scoops Ice-Cream with 3 Toppings. Bailey's Irish Cream, Belgium Chocolate, Coffee and Strawberry... but toppings almond nuts, chocolate sauce and peach. What else can I say? It's simply heaven....
And then I came home... and I saw this on my kitchen floor...
2 Live Crabs... Waiting to turn into this:
Ok... that was wad's waiting for me on the table... all warmed up. Apparently 2 of the live crabs have already turned into that. The 2 crabs u see left up there, are waiting to become crab porridge tmr. And guess wad my dearest brother juz did? He used blue marker to draw on the shell of one of the crabs "Do Not Kill Me!!!" and on the other, "Bie Sha Wo!!!". Well... that's my brother....
