Short Weekend Getaway At The M'sia HouseThose whom I'd known since sec sch and JC would have heard be talking about the house my whole family own at Johor Bahru. For some reason I just felt like bringing in my camera this time to take photos. Too bad my youngest auntie did not go in this time, otherwise we would have a ktv session at night! Instead this is what we did on Saturday night...

Ever seen so many people around one mahjong table before? It's called family bonding.
Usually when we go stayover at the place I would be slacking around the house, enjoying the air-con and complaining of being bored. I'm surprised that this time I actually managed to drag my fat lazy ass out into the sun to help out with the gardening.

That's my dad chopping off a big tree that was in the middle of the slope down to the garden. The tree was much bigger than was you see in the picture but cos I woke up late I only managed to capture the 2nd half of the tree chopping session.

My bro and sis helping my dad out with the chopping...

That's my eldest uncle racking the fallen leaves...

And my bro giving my little cousin a ride on the wheelbarrow.

We saw this little hairy worm on the steps and decided to feed it to the fishes in the pond, but when we thought that all was fine...

We saw THIS at the steps a while after we send the little worm to it's death. Damn scary... I told my sis the Mama worm is out looking for it's son. Better hurry run away before it decides that we're the killers and come attack us. Besides... it looks so gross. *pui*

My dad chopping the last big stump of what's left of the majestic tree.

And he made my bro carry the stump all the way to the bottom of the garden. Muscle man alert!

Doesn't this look like a walrus foaming at the mouth? Haha... it's our jackfruit that has ripened... the white "foam" is the sap from the tree...

Baby pineapple... still not ripe...

My bro instructed by my dad to use a parang to scrap off the skin of the bamboos we grew

I gave it a try too... but it's more difficult than it looks

So I decided to play bamboo fighting with my sis instead...

What's the fire for? We're having a Great Ants Massacre... burning all the ant nests we can find in the garden.

That's my dad's car parked at our own pretty open-air garage...

My bro and sis walking up at side slope to the bbq pit white waiting for the rest to pack up to leave

My sis and I sitting under the pavilion made for bbq... nice scenery over the fence...
Time to leave, but not before my dad asking us to go pluck off 2 coconuts that is almost ripe, but cos we'll be going off to China for 2 weeks, it might be stolen by the caretakers by the time we return.

My bro doing the job

My sis doing the job
Ok I'm free for the entire next week before flying off to China on the 4th. Any kind soul out there would like to ask me out?
